    I normally get the waffle or French toast for breakfast because they are reliable. He gets an omelet or egg sandwiches.

    Is it the best food around? Probably not. The service? I like the younger waitress or the older gentleman. The older waitress and I just do not mix for some reason.

    All of that being said: the food is consistent but the service can use a little work.

    This is a below-average dinner.  

    The food is average for a dinner, but the service (in the few times I've been there) is consistently poor.  Rather than treated as a welcome guest, I'm treated like a distraction at best, an annoyance at worst.

    I don't plan to return.

    This place is a hair above starvation....Bacon was 3 different temps...under cooked, semi done and well done.  Pancake was ok...My husband left most of his breakfast, home fries not great.  Barely anyone there and our breakfast took a little longer than expected.

    So here I'm am at Briarwood Cafe, again. I have gotten tired of the grumpy waiter still being grumpy. I'm tired of the chef behind the counter who does not care anymore, waiting to get fired. Our food should-be presented to  be pleasing to the eye.
    Mr owner PLEASR GET A NEW CHEF. you can make more money and have pleasing food too.

    Honestly this cafe isn't how it used to be. The food was so plain and it was just not the best honestly. Spent 40$ on breakfast for my family but I could've cooked at home and had better tasting food. This place was just unorganized, not sure what happened to this place. Save your money and make eggs and pancakes at home.
